The Zoom 707 is without a doubt my personal favourite effects
unit. Its total simplicity in its operation is mirrored by it awesome
processing power which delivers almost studio quality sounds. We are forever
being asked how this unit compares to the Korg AX1-G. Well, the truth is that
in the time we have been selling Zoom effects we have probably sold 10 of the
Korg units (against literally thousands of the 707!). This is simply because
the 707 is better and we make sure our customers know about it! The advantages
over the Korg are as follows:-
Sturdier construction with recessed knobs that are far less likely to get
damaged (unlike the Korg)
Great LCD display (instead of a horrible grey panel on the Korg) means you
can't go wrong - you can even give proper names to unique patches.
The sound quality is just staggering for a unit of this price.
The drum sounds are great! Fantastic for practicing to without getting board of
listening to metronome.
If you need a multi-effects and have around £100, this is definately the
one to go for! You have my word that this is the best money can buy.
