F2 in Tobacco Based on the F-1 hard tail, but offering more flexibility of sound. As a body material we chose American alder which allowed the guitar a little more expression. Two ‘Duncan Designed’ humbuckers are wired to a super 5-way switch with a great wiring scheme: Position 1. Bridge humbucker in standard series mode. Position 2. Bridge humbucker in standard parallel mode. Position 3. Bridge and neck humbucker standard. Position 4. Inner single coils out of phase. Position 5. Neck humbucker in standard series mode This is a really wired tonal arrangement. The F-2 is available with open coil humbuckers in MDB and BK. A pair of ‘Duncan Designed’, Alnico V humbuckers is matched with their Alnico V centre position single coil, which are then wired as you would expect.
