Vintage (as in the brand name) have not been around too long. Maybe 3-4 years. They have no heritage, or major history to speak of and they do not draw in the crowds like Fender or Gibson do. So why do I choose this model as one of my favourites? Vintage make very affordable instruments which are fantastic value for money. This model is by far, the best value electro acoustic I have come across! It has a "propper" EQ. (None of that passive rubbish!). So many people are still buying acoustics with passive pickups that just sound terrible in comparison to this model. It has a cutaway which are always popular and it comes in natural or this great looking colour you see here. Its a real eye catcher.

Solid spruce is the industry standard material for "top end" acoustic guitars. All entry level guitars are made from spruce laminate (3 pieces glued together). Although the guitar plays every bit as good as the solid top model, solid spruce will offer a "tonaly superior" sound. Solid top acoustics also get even better with age (It's true!!.)

If you purchase this item with the package mentioned above, the TW28 will be replaced for the TW28 ST (solid top).

It is arguable that a complete beginner will not appreciate the difference between solid and non solid, however, if you want a guitar that is going to sound richer in tone and improve with age you just may want to take advantage of this upgrade option
