The TW28 has been my long standing favourite for many
years now. We were stocking Tanglewood guitars long before it was
"fashionable" to do so, based on their extremely high quality for the
money you pay. These days they have built a reputation whereby we have people
asking us for the guitars rather than us saying "have you tried one of
these!". Many music shops stock Making Music magazine which is a free
product guide in shops around the UK. The TW28 finds itself second only to the
Yamaha F310 (also on this page). The photo was taken by myself and I was keen to highlight the cleanliness of the interior of the guitar. It is incredible how meticulously Tanglewood appear to put their guitars together. My final reason why this is my favourite entry level guitar we sell is due to its quality "satin" finish. Many companies go for a high gloss finish which I tend to think looks a little bit cheap (but that is just my personal opinion!). By the way - Tanglewood do also make this guitar in a red and blue gloss finish for those of you who want a bit of extra colour in your lives! Oct 2003 Update - The TW28 has now been updated to the TW28SNQ which has upgraded machine heads at no extra charge! Good ol' Tanglewood. |
