The Maverick F2 "Hardtail" - £599 In my opinion, one of the classiest fixed bridge rock guitars you're going to find -anywhere.

Whatever your favourite rock guitar brand may be, there is no denying that Maverick have made a huge impact, not just on the future of rock guitar design but also the "ethics" behind guitar building. This guitar oozes with class - from the minute that I am holding it I can tell that this guitar has been set up in production to a far greater standard than I would normally expect "straight out of the box". Attention to detail is what I love with this guitar, from the recessed strap button, through to the Maverick inscrition on the beautiful chrome bridge plate. The chrome logo on the headstock finishes the look off. By the way, no more fumbling at dimly lit gigs thanks to the recessed "bowl" jack socket! What a superb feature!

To fully appreciate this guitar, you need to see, feel and here it in person. However wonderful the web may be, these are things that I simply cannot put across here at our website. We have just been trying it out with the new Zoom Tri-metal pedal and what a combination!! Kieron (our sales manager) will vouch for the "rock factor" that this guitar will bring to your sound! With its "super 5 way" switch which offers greater flexibilty of sound and Seymour Duncan pickups, Maverick have cut no corners to bring this guitar to you at £599. Gotoh machine heads ensured that I had no problem keeping it in tune whilst putting it through its paces! My summary? If you want a fixed bridge rock guitar (ideal if you need to "drop tune" or never use the trem) and would prefer tuning stability over "dive bombing" antics then this guitar is an absoloute "must try".
