For many players, an A Series Artisan will be the last purchase they will ever need to make.
So what makes an Artisan so good?
Seeing photographs (whatever the quality) can never do justice to a bass of this quality. A photograph can never show how the solid figured maple top "moves" with every turn, or how the neck fits into your hand like a glove made by your own personal taylor.
One look at the constuction of the "fortress" bridge and you will understand why an Artisan produces more sustain than any other bass of its genre.
A one piece neck, straight through the body of the Artisan produces both growling low end and percussive highs.
