The fact that the top 10 is dominated by distortion and overdrive pedals is testament to the quality of their pedals, enabling guitarists to massively expand their tonal range and overdrive sound without spending a fortune on upgrading their amp. One good choice of pedal will transform your amp sound. The PW10 is the most awesome wah pedal I have ever seen and is totally justified at #1 spot in my Boss pedal chart. No surprises too that chorus makes its way in to the top 10 as it has always been the effect I recommend beginners experiment with - add chorus to your first few chords that you learn and you will be inspired! The MT-2 is the genuine second place pedal but the MD-2 is certainly showing all the signs of being the kind of distortion over the coming months!
